About the Role We are seeking an experienced, solutions-focused Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of ATW Employment Services and provide operational oversight for Which Way Driving School. While this role will initially support both business units, the primary focus will be on employment services, which is our largest and most established stream. As Which Way Driving School continues to grow, this role may evolve to focus solely on employment services, working in collaboration with the driving school team to support aligned operational goals and shared workforce outcomes. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the Managing Directors, as well as other internal leaders across the ATW Group—including the Operations Manager of Dynamic Services Group (DSG)—to maximise collaboration, efficiency, and impact across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of ATW Employment Services and Which Way Driving School across Cairns, Brisbane, and regional QLD Supervise and support dispersed frontline staff, including performance, workload management, and ongoing development Oversee government-funded contract deliverables, ensuring milestones, KPIs, and reporting obligations are met on time and to standard Work with Compliance team to ensure operational teams are upholding ISO-accredited quality management systems, internal processes, and continuous improvement Ensure strong WHS practices and compliance across all service areas and sites Oversee service delivery across apprenticeship/traineeship programs, labour hire, workforce solutions, and driver training Use business systems such as Monday.com, Ready Recruit, Astute, Xero for planning, task management, tracking, and reporting Liaise with host employers, RTOs, funding bodies, licensing agencies, and other stakeholders Work with General Manager to report on and provide information on team performance, resource allocation, budgets, and operational reporting as required Work collaboratively with DSG and other business leaders to identify shared opportunities and streamline processes across the group What You Bring Experience in operations, employment services, contract delivery, or vocational training Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi-site teams Understanding of government funding, compliance frameworks, and WHS legislation Familiarity with ISO quality systems and service delivery standards Confidence using digital tools for planning, reporting, and operational coordination Practical, action-oriented mindset with strong communication and organisational skills Flexibility to travel across Queensland regularly Why Join ATW?
